  •  Various problems suggested by P. W. D. Maharashtra, regarding Roads,  different   Research Schemes for  Highways ,  are being handled by this division.
  •  Pavement design for new & existing roads.
  •   Investigation  & suggesting  remedial  measures for road works.
  •  Determination of roughness index for roads by car axle mounted bump integrator.
  •   Studying new techniques by using  locally available material for road  construction       
  •  Various tests related to road   materials. (Californiya Bearing Ratio, Soil, Aggregate
